New Tidal Products launched by Made By Tait

Made By Tait is a progressive Melbourne-based design company specialising in products that celebrate the Australian outdoor lifestyle. Establsihed by Managing Director and sheet metal craftsman, Gordon Tait, and Creative Director, Susan Taithey the Tait team have more than 21 years experience in designing, making, collaborating, and manufacturing furniture as well-known for quality as unique aesthetic.

The company has just launched its latest products by award-winning Australian designer and UNSW Art & Design graduate, Trent Jansen. As part of the ever-popular Tidal Collection, Jansen has created the Tidal Chair and Tidal Sunlounge that reference the curves and lap lines of the NSW coast where he lives. Jansen says, “The straight edges and tight radii give the pieces a unique 70s feel. They’re made from stainless steel wire with a powder coat or electro polished finish, and I like to think they are like a cool, refreshing drink on a long, hot day.”
