Fresh from his recent induction as a Bragg member to the Royal Institute of Australia, ESSRC's Professor Michael Archer AM has taken out the NSW Premiers Prize for Excellence in Biological Sciences (Ecology, environmental, agricultural, organismal).

NSW Premiers Prizes in Science & Engineering (replacing the NSW Science & Engineering Awards) seek to recognise excellence in science and engineering, and reward leading researchers for cutting-edge work that has generated economic, environmental, health, social or technological benefits for New South Wales.

Archer is one of three UNSW researchers to recieve Premiers Prizes this year, across nine categories.
