Professor Gary Froyland has been selected as a guest speaker for next week's Supervisor Symposium at Monash University, on a bill which also includes former Chief Scientist Professor Ian Chubb.

The event - set for 18 November - will celebrate supervision excellence, showcasing some of Australia's most respected scientists and decorated supervisors. Fellow UNSW Professors Angela Moles (BEES) and Laura Poole-Warren (Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Research Training) are also among the six invited guest speakers.

Professor Froyland, who has supervised a sizeable number of Honours and PhD students during his time at UNSW, and was recipient of a 2015 Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Research Supervision, will feature on a one-hour Research Mentor Panel Discussion at the event.
