Bachelor of Design
Design / Graphics / Visual Communications

Dedicated to his design and teaching practices, Associate Professor Leong Chan is a specialist in visual communication and information design, with a particular interest in identity and print culture in Asia. Leong will be available on UNSW Info Day to discuss the role of designers in contemporary society and the structure and strengths of the design degree taught at UNSW Art & Design.

Bachelor of Media Arts
Media / Technology / Design Innovation

Dr Patricia Flanagan is an innovative new media design practitioner and popular lecturer at UNSW Art & Design.  She is dedicated supportind and developing her students as the next generations of creative practitioners.  Trish’s areas of expertise include the latest technologies and how they can be incorporated into everyday useable objects, such as wearable technologies and experimental textiles.  She will be available on UNSW Info Day to discuss the value and unique strengths of the Media Arts degree at UNSW Art & Design.

Bachelor of Fine Arts
Art / Video / Photography / Sculpture

Dr Grant Stevens is nationally and internationally recognised contemporary artist.  His work explores the relationships between creative production, technology, contemporary visual culture, and theories as to how and why people respond to the world around them.  Grant will available on UNSW Info Day to discuss the important contribution that artists make to society and the unique strengths of the Fine Arts degree at UNSW Art & Design.

Bachelor of Art Theory
Art Theory / Art Criticism / Curation

Dr Caleb Kelly has an extensive practice as a writer, curator and creative event director.  He is also a dedicated lecturer into the Art Theory degree at UNSW Art & Design.  Caleb’s interests are focused on sound arts, contemporary art, media arts, art history and theory. Caleb will be available on UNSW Info Day to discuss the invaluable role that arts writers, historians and theorists contribute to society and the unique strengths of the Art Theory degree at UNSW Art & Design.
