Focused on contemporary art produced by some of the world’s most prominent and innovative practitioners the Arte Laguna Prize opens in Venice during March.  The 11th edition of this annual Prize features 125 works selected by high profile curator Igor Zanti in collaboration with ten international jurors, Flavio Arensi, Tamara Chalabi, Paolo Colombo, Suad Garayeva, Ilaria Gianni, Emanuele Montibeller, Salvador Nadales, Fatos Ustek, Alma Zevi, and Nav Haq.   

UNSW Art & Design lecturer Dr Tim Gregory’s work titled Inside Out, is a 2 channel HDDV production, and will be displayed in the historic Venice Arsenale, featuring 30 paintings, 30 sculptures and installations, 30 works photographic works, 10 videos, 10 land art projects and 5 performances.

The second venue for the Arte Laguna Prize, the TIM Future Centre, will highlight 5 virtual and 5 digital graphic art works.  

The Arte Laguna Prize runs from 26 March - 9 April 2017, every day from 10 am to 6 pm. Entry is free.
