Group ANZAMP
The Fifth Annual Meeting of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Mathematical Physics (ANZAMP) was hosted by the UNSW School of Mathematics and Statistics at The Pavilion, Kiama, from 1-3 February, 2017.

ANZAMP is a relatively new division of AustMS, representing mathematical physics research interests.

Featured keynote speakers included: Luis Fernando Alday, University of Oxford; Bernd Krauskopf, University of Auckland; Eric Ragoucy, LAPTh - Jonathan KressCRNS; Tomohiro Sasamoto, Tokyo Institute of Technology; and Susan Scott, Australian National University. 

Local organisers were School members Jonathan Kress and Joshua Capel. Deputy Head of School, Professor John Roberts, said of the meeting: "[The organisers] did a superb job of ensuring the scientific standard and mix of topics was great, as was the location, catering and ambience. I think everyone had a great time". 

Congratulations to the organisers for a successful meeting! The next annual meeting will be held in 2018 in Auckland.
