Our School of Taxation and Business Law is proud to announce that two of our Atax Master of Taxation alumni were shortlisted for the Tax Adviser of the Year Awards on 16 March 2017.

The awards celebrate the best and brightest in the tax profession across Australia and recognise excellence from nominees over four categories – Emerging Tax Star, SME Tax Advisers of the Year, Corporate Tax Adviser of the Year and Chartered Tax Adviser of the Year.

Master of Taxation alumni Fiona Dillon and Simon How were finalists in the Corporate Tax Adviser of the Year category, proving that they continually demonstrate technical tax expertise, continuing knowledge development and tax community involvement, as well as outstanding ethics and professionalism.

Both were our Business School Awards Ceremony Prize Winners while they were students and we are very proud that they are being recognised by the industry for their skills in taxation.

We note that the 8 person judging panel included other high performing Atax alumni, Dr Sylvia Villios (MTax) and Tracy Rens (MTax).

Congratulations to all involved.
