Congratulations to Melissa Hart, Angela Maharaj and Giovanni Di Virgilio, for being awarded a $500k citizen science grant from the federal government for the Sydney schools weather and air quality network (SWAQ network).  This project will place meteorology and air quality sensors in 30 schools across Sydney. Students will collect and analyse the data in science and geography curriculum-aligned classroom activities. The data will also be freely available online for use in urban climate and air quality research
