Banking and finance professional Anatoly Logunov is the 2018 recipient of the Luminis AGSM Wharton Business Innovation Scholarship. He is the second AGSM MBA candidate to benefit from a $1 million MBA scholarship program at AGSM @ UNSW Business School, which was established by the Luminis Foundation.

The scholarship provides full tuition fees for Logunov to complete a full-time MBA at the AGSM, a stipend and an international exchange to the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Logunov has over seven years' experience in strategic product management, data-driven marketing and economic research at the major Australian banks. He received a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor Economics (with Honours), as well a Master of International Law and Security from the University of New South Wales.

"I am grateful for the generosity of Luminis Partners through the Luminis Foundation and UNSW for the opportunity to complete a full time MBA here at AGSM. I am delighted to be embarking on a journey that will shape the future of my career through a program that promotes innovation and adaptive leadership. I hold UNSW in high regard, having completed both my undergrad and master's degrees here and I am honoured to return to the university for a third time to complete my MBA," he said.

Wharton, one of the world's leading business schools, will give Logunov access to an exclusive business network within the United States, which will continue to grow and develop throughout his work placement opportunities while Logunov resides in the U.S.

"This scholarship will allow me to experience not one, but two world-class leading MBA programs. AGSM and Wharton will help me expand my networks and create invaluable business connections that will continue to influence and drive my career within the Australian business market."

Professor Nick Wailes, Director AGSM and Deputy Dean of UNSW Business School said: "We are proud to present this scholarship to Anatoly in partnership with the Luminis Foundation. He is a true ambassador for the university and is a proven innovator with an astute analytical mind."

"This scholarship provides unique experiences and international opportunities that will continue to shape a student's career long after they have completed their MBA," he said. The generous support from the Luminis Foundation helps AGSM provide these invaluable experiences for our students," he said.

Since the launch of this scholarship in 2016, Simon Mordant AM, Executive Co-Chairman of Luminis Partners said "Ron is an Alumnus of UNSW and I am an Alumnus of Wharton. We believe that education and innovation are fundamental to all we do and we are overjoyed to be partnering with UNSW and Wharton to create this long-term scholarship program in business innovation."
