Chris Tisdell
We are delighted to announce that Professor Chris Tisdell has been elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of NSW.

Royal Society Fellows are recognised for their substantial contributions and leadership in their fields within the disciplines of science, art, literature and philosophy.

Professor Tisdell joins other School members Trevor McDougall and Ian Sloan who are also Fellows of the Royal Society of NSW. Professor Sloan is also the current President of the Society.

In a letter to Professor Tisdell, Professor Sloan said, "I am delighted to inform you that the membership has resolved unanimously to elect you as a Fellow of the Royal Society of NSW. We are most excited by quality of our recent Fellows – all are very accomplished leaders such as yourself".

Professor Tisdell will be presented with his Fellowship certificate at a Society meeting later this year.

A very big congratulations to Professor Tisdell!
