UNSW Blues and Sport Awards - Nominations
On 1 October we will be opening nominations for the 2020 UNSW Blues and Sport Awards.

With just a few weeks to go, now is the time to start thinking about who from your sporting community you would like to nominate.
The students selected for a UNSW Blue are chosen by the Blues committee each year and must fulfill a range of criteria. Blues winners personify the qualities that sport brings to the University community. They contribute high University sporting achievement, commitment to their club and demonstrate the key sporting values of
teamwork and selflessness across the whole of their University life.
The Sports Awards are open to nominations from the entire UNSW sporting community and nominees do not need to be students.
The categories open for nomination for the 2020 awards include:
- Male Athlete of the Year
- Female Athlete of the Year
- Indigenous Athlete of the Year
- Coach of the Year
- Administrator of the Year
- Team of the Year
- Club of the Year
- Academic Excellence
- Community Sport Award
- Sport Recognition Award
The Community Sport Award is a newly introduced award for 2020 and will reward an individual, club or society that has made an outstanding contribution to the UNSW sporting community.
Voting will be available through the UNSW Sport website from 1 October. We will send out an email newsletter as soon as nominations open, so please sign up now to make sure you receive the email.
