UNSW named as leader in Computational Maths; Guoyin Li recognised as leader in his field

Associate Professor Guoyin Li has been recognised as one of the nation's top achievers in a report by The Australian which also names UNSW as the leading institution in Australia for Computational Mathematics.
The report, published in The Australian’s 2019 Research magazine, features top researchers and research institutions in more than 250 academic fields.
In the category of Physics and Mathematics, A/Prof Guoyin Li is recognised as a "field leader" in the area of Mathematical Optimisation.
Meanwhile, UNSW Sydney is named as the "leading institution" nationally for Computational Mathematics.
The Australian worked with research analytics firm League of Scholars to identify the leading academics and institutions for the report.
