Guoyin Li wins 2019 ICCM Best Paper Award

A very big congratulations to Associate Professor Guoyin Li, who has been awarded a 2019 ICCM Best Paper Award.
The International Consortium of Chinese Mathematicians (ICCM) Best Paper Award was developed to support and encourage scholars to conduct forward-looking and original research, offering a prize of US$5,000 to 30 awardees each year.
A/Prof Li's winning paper, “Global Convergence of Splitting Methods for Nonconvex Composite Optimization”, published in the SIAM Journal on Optimization, was co-authored with Ting Kei Pong.
A/Prof Li's award was presented at the annual meeting of the ICCM in the Chinese city of Sanya.
