Arc Sport's Day of Play each term has lots of fun and different ways to get active on campus

2020 is here and with it comes all the resolutions and promises you make to yourself about self-improvement. If one of your aims is to be more physically active in 2020, why not try some of the great options available on campus? 

1. Join a UNSW Sport Club

There are 39 great sport clubs at UNSW and with such a wide range, you're sure to find something that appeals to you. From more traditional sports like AFL, soccer, rugby and netball, to newer sports like ultimate frisbee and underwater rugby and recreational pursuits like windsurfing, water skiing and rockclimbing, our clubs have got you covered. Check out all 39 clubs on our website and contact the clubs to get involved.

2. Get involved in social sport

Arc runs some fantastic social sport competitions for students during term time. They're lots of fun and open to all students. You can get some friends together and form a team or enter as an individual and make new friends. There are mixed competitions for oztag, volleyball, netball, dodgeball, touch football and futsal. Get active while having fun, what could be better? Head to the Arc Sport website for more information and to sign up.

3. Join the gym

The UNSW Fitness and Aquatic Centre is a great on campus resource for keeping fit and having fun. With plenty of small group and fitness class, personal training, sports facilities and a great pool where you can pump out some laps in comfort, it's a great place to start your 2020 fitness journey. 4. She Can and Day of Play

Arc Sport have some great programs to get you up and moving during term time. She Can is a fun initiative for women and non-binary students to get involved in physical activity on campus. There are lots of fun taster classes in a variety of sports and activities that are social, female-only and easy to get involved in. Day of Play is held once a term and encourages all students to get active. Try out something new, get a bit sweaty or take a shot at testing your sporting abilities. Arc Sport brings you a day of activities, competitions, things to do, hit, play and more each term.
