Professor Eileen Baldry and Professor William Ledger co-host this weekly podcast, discussing topics such as disability, pregnancy, women living with addiction and aging women.

“The impact of COVID-19 is not gender-neutral. It is crucial to examine the gendered impact of the pandemic as it relates to the wellbeing of women” says Professor Eileen Baldry, DCV, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

Established in December 2019, the Academy was established to highlight the incredible work being done by University staff and academics, and to be a driver for increased collaboration across UNSW. It is open to any individual or group at UNSW, whose research, teaching and practice falls within women’s wellbeing and encourages multi-disciplinary work and collaboration with universities, industry and government.

“A UNSW Women’s Wellbeing Academy [serves] society well, not just in developing grassroots initiatives but by leading community discussion and debate and influencing policy at the state and national level.” says Vice Chancellor, Professor Ian Jacobs.
