CCRC Adjunct Professor Michael Goldstein is the New Editor of The Financial Review

New Editor Announcement: The Financial Review

The Eastern Finance Association is pleased to announce that, effective May 2021, the new editor of The Financial Review will be Dr. Michael Goldstein, the Donald P. Babson Chair in Applied Investments and Professor of Finance at Babson College. He currently serves as an associate editor at The Financial Review, and as an editor or associate editor at a variety of finance and science journals. He will succeed the current editors, Srini Krishnamurthy and Richard Warr of North Carolina State University.

Dr. Goldstein currently also has joint appointments at Brown University and the University of New South Wales (Australia) in climate change and the University of Rhode Island in finance. He has also held positions at Boston College, the University of Colorado, Queen's University Belfast (UK), Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) and The University of Sydney (Australia). He is Chair of the Economic Advisory Committee for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and has served as Chair of the NASDAQ Economic Advisory Board and as a Visiting Economist at the New York Stock Exchange.

Dr. Goldstein's current research focuses on both market structure and climate change, and he has also published papers on dividends, real estate, asset pricing, and privatization. His papers have been published in a number of journals, including The Journal of Finance, The Journal of Financial Economics, The Review of Financial Studies, and The Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Climatic Change, Water Resources Research, and Nature - Scientific Reports. He has been a co-Principal Investigator on four U.S. National Science Foundation grants.
