Number One in Australia for Maths: US News

We are delighted to reveal that UNSW Mathematics and Statistics has achieved another #1 ranking for mathematics nationally.
The most recent US News Rankings have positioned UNSW at Number One in Australia and, at Number 59 in the world, establishes us as the only university in Australia to feature in the Top 100 for Mathematics globally.
Our US News success builds on our track record of ranking excellence. The announcement comes on the heels of the 2020 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), where we have held the top position in the country in Mathematics for three years in a row. We have also ranked first nationally in Maths for two years running in the NTU Rankings.
