A new breakthrough by the SMaRT Centre UNSW promises a new recycling strategy for polymer-laminated materials like coffee pods, closing the loop on an important stream of waste! Scientia Professor Veena Sahajwalla, Doctoral Student Abdullah Al Mahmood and Dr Rumana Hossain described this new process in the latest issues of Spring Nature and the Journal of Cleaner Production.
