QS Rankings: We rank #1 in Australia for Maths

We are proud to report that UNSW has been ranked number one in Australia for Mathematics in the QS Subject Rankings.
The QS World University Rankings by Subject are based upon academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact. Globally, we are positioned in the top 40, at number 38.
Our top domestic position comes after several years of number one rankings from organisations such as the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), US News Global Universities, NTU Rankings, and CWTS Leiden Rankings.
We are among four subjects at UNSW which ranked number one in the country, including Civil & Structural Engineering; Electrical & Electronic Engineering; and Mechanical, Aeronautical & Manufacturing Engineering.
Of the results, Head of School Professor Adelle Coster said, "This is a great result, which reinforces our position as the leading research mathematics school in Australia".
