UNSW Law & Justice is delighted to welcome Moot teams to compete on Saturday 22 – Monday 24 May.
Consistent with its strong commitment to mooting, and tradition of excellence in private and commercial law scholarship and research, UNSW Law & Justice has hosted the UNSW Law Private Law Moot since 2014. The Private Law Moot is unique across the common law world as the only truly global moot about private law.
Founded by Law & Justice alumni Lyndon Goddard and Rohit Sud, the Moot is an annual competition which is now carried forward by successive generations of UNSW Law & Justice student moot convenors supported by an academic advisor, Professor Simone Degeling.
In 2021, UNSW Law & Justice is delighted to welcome the following teams to compete on Saturday 22 – Monday 24 May:
Australia
Hong Kong
India
Malaysia
New Zealand
Singapore
United Kingdom
We are indebted to King & Wood Mallesons for their generous financial support of the Moot and to the legal practitioners, UNSW Law & Justice alumni and academic staff who have agreed to participate as judges. We are also grateful to Hart Publishing for generously donating book prizes.
