Melissa Hart and Angela Maharaj awarded a citizen science grant

Congratulations to CCRC's Dr Melissa Hart, CCRC's Dr Angela Maharaj, and Dr Negin Nazarian who have been awarded by the Federal Government a $499,323 grant for their project, Air in Alice: a community response to reduce future environmental risks.
The study will use a multi-pronged approach of crowdsourcing environmental data to create environmental awareness and develop community relevant adaptive solutions for Alice Springs residents. You can find out more about this grant and others that were awarded here. This is a first step to close the health gap between remote and urban Australia.
