Meet Dr Sheela Kumaran, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at SOVS. Sheela is a health systems and outcomes researcher with expertise in patient-reported outcome measures. Her research aims to understand the health-related quality of life impacts of different eye diseases.

She was recently awarded the Macular Disease Foundation Australia research grant to develop item banks for age-related macular degeneration and estimate the financial burden of the disease. https://www.mdfoundation.com.au/.../quality-of-life-and-amd/
