Meet higher degree student of the month, Jeremy Chiang. Jeremy is currently researching nerve damage with cancer treatment
Introducing Jeremy Chiang, our PhD candidate researching nerve damage with cancer treatment. He is looking at how the eyes could be a window to the nervous system using a sophisticated eye scan, known as laser scanning confocal microscopy.
Jeremy works closely with patients and medical teams at the Prince of Wales Hospital. He is a keen educator and science communicator, with roles as a clinical and research supervisor, ARVO Science Communication Training Fellow and mentor for new UNSW HDR students.
