Women in STEM Edit-A-Thon
Come join us in celebrating the achievements of Women in STEM by editing their Wikipedia profiles!

Did you know that only 19% of biographies on Wikipedia are about women? Given the gender imbalance already present in STEM, there is a great underrepresentation of Wikipedia profiles for Women in STEM.
This event is supported by WikiMedia, so there will be support present for all levels of knowledge of Wikipedia editing.
In addition to learning about editing Wikipedia profiles, the event will feature a question panel of some inspiring women working in STEM fields. Get your chance to ask questions to:
- Dr Cathy Foley: Australia's Chief Scientist
- Dr Eser Zerenturk: Education Manager at Sydney Quantum Academy
- Dr Steph Gardener: Researcher for the Centre of Marine Science and Innovation
