New for 'Bilingual Community Navigators' project

We are currently in the process of discussing with the practice about the time and modality of the pilot intervention.   11 Community Health Workers are recruited, who received 4 hours of induction training, 20 hours of structured online training for Bilingual Community Navigator, and currently attending the periodic workshops with case discussion.  Four general practices in Sydney initially agreed to participate in the pilot intervention and we received ethical approval for the pilot intervention where trained BCNs will be placed in the practice to help solve the navigation problems faced by people from culturally and linguistically diverse background suffering from chronic illnesses.
