Congratulations to Associate Professor Juno Kim and OptomSoc President Ms Azba Mashood who were recognised with awards from UNSW ARC and the Postgraduate Research Council (PGC) recently.
Associate Professor Juno Kim who was awarded an ARC PGC Course Coordinator of the Year Award for his mentorship and for inspiring and motivating students on their higher degree research journey. Associate Professor Kim was nominated by his current PhD student, Mr Peter Wagner.
Ms Azba Mashood, current OptomSoc President was recognised with an ARC PGC Ambassador of the Year Award for her outstanding leadership during a challenging year. Professor Lisa Keay, Head of School, UNSW School of Optometry and Vision Science was delighted to have nominated Ms Mashood.
