Welcome Dr. Dong Wen

Dr. Dong Wen completed his PhD at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in 2019. He then spent two and half years as a postdoctoral researcher at Australian Artificial Intelligence  Institute (AAII), UTS before joining UNSW. His main interests focus on big graph analytics and processing, which has been a very hot research area in the big data era. His expertise is in graph mining, distributed graph processing, social analysis and query optimization.  He received the Best Paper Award in ICDE 2016 and One of the Best Papers in ICDE 2019. He has lectured in social network analysis and has established collaborations with industry partners to apply his research outcomes in real-world applications.
