About the CVEN Industry Partners Program.

The School of Civil & Environmental Engineering (CVEN) is internationally ranked as the premier School of its kind in Australia, (AWRU/ QS/ THE) and in the world’s top fifteen (AWRU/QS).

The support of industry partners helps the School grow the profile of the profession through outreach programs that connect with students in NSW primary and high schools.

This includes our very successful Primary School Maths Prize which promotes the importance of maths for an exciting engineering career, and Year 10 Engineering Work Experience Week which offers young people from around the state the chance to experience a wide range of civil, environmental and geospatial engineering projects, sites and activities.

Program funds are also used to run events that link our undergraduates with Industry Partners, such as careers markets, elite student industry breakfasts, career information events, and other student focused events.

Interested industry colleagues should contact Dr Kurt Douglas (k.douglas@unsw.edu.au) for further information about the CVEN Industry Partners Program.
