The total grant is $245k over 2 years and is built from his UNSW-Industry Network Seed Funding project in 2020-21. The grant is aimed to fund his research team to create novel composite microdevices to deliver cannabinoids in the skin at a controlled rate for effective and sustained pain therapy for people suffering from chronic pain.

Each university is only allowed to lodge two applications, and only nine were funded in 2021. So, Congratulations to Dr Tushar Kumeria for your hard work.
