Congratulations to the School of Civil & Environmental Engineering’s Associate Professor Jinling Wang   who was listed by The Australian Research Magazine  as Australia’s top researcher in the field of Radar, Positioning & Navigation.

Jinling’s research goal is the development of reliable mathematical modelling and quality control procedures for geospatial mapping and navigation applications.

His research expertise is in the areas of Global Navigation Satellite Systems - GNSS (GPS, Glonass, Galileo, BeiDou System-BDS) and their integration; Multi-Sensor Integration for Positioning, Mapping and Navigation; and Statistical Theory and Its Applications in Positioning, Mapping and Navigation.

The Australian’s Research magazine names the top researcher and top research institution in each field of research, based on the number of citations for papers published in the top 20 journals in each field over the past five years.

And congrats also to our 2015 construction management PhD alumnus Dr Samad Sepasgozar whose ongoing great work  at UNSW Built Environment has placed him as The Australian’s Top Researcher in the field of Architecture. Dr Sepasgozar is an active researcher and emerging scholar in digital technology development and adoption.
