Professor Bruce Neal has been named among the world’s most influential researchers on Clarivate’s prestigious Highly Cited Researcher List for 2023. The 2023 list comprises of 6849 individual researchers from institutions across 67 different countries, with these individuals representing the top 0.1% of all researchers, globally.
Professor Neal is a Professor of Medicine at UNSW, Director of the George Institute, and CVMM Steering Committee Member. This will be the seventh consecutive year that he has been recognised as a highly cited researcher in the field of clinical medicine, with the first time being in 2017.
In 2023, Professor Neal has been recognised alongside 32 UNSW researchers, including seven from the Faculty of Medicine and Health: Scientia Professor Helen Christensen, Scientia Professor Louisa Degenhardt, Professor Raina MacIntyre, Scientia Professor Vlado Perkovic, Scientia Associate Professor Simon Rosenbaum, Professor Stuart Tangye, Professor Philip Ward, Professor Mark Woodward. The result places UNSW among the top 27 of all universities, globally.
