Funded through the MTPConnect-Supported Targeted Translational Research Acceleration initiative in 2021, ASHRA aims to revolutionise cardiovascular research with a strong focus on clinical impact and entrepreneurship.

Key Details:
- Four grants, each valued at $100,000, are available.
- Projects focusing on drug, device, or digital interventions in CVD/stroke/heart failure are encouraged.
- Eligible projects must demonstrate clear pathways to translational and/or commercialisation success.
Timeline:
- Expression of Interest (EOI) opens: 20 June 2024
- EOI closes: 29 July 2024, 5 pm
- Notification to applicants: 12 August 2024
- Project must be able to commence immediately, and funds must be spent by 15 December 2025.
Submission Requirements:
- Use the provided application template.
- Submit a 2-page Project Summary (excluding CV and team contact details).
- Include a 1/2-page CV focusing on translation and commercialisation skills for up to 4 Chief Investigators.
