ICFHS researchers, led by Director, Professor Michael Kidd AO, together with colleagues based in five major primary care research groups around Australia, and in partnership with the Consumers Health Forum of Australia, over 30 peak national primary care stakeholder organisations, and 100 primary care clinician researchers, have been funded to look at new and better ways to deliver primary care and improve outcomes for patients.  This initiative is one of seven funded through the Australian Government’s Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) to transform primary care in Australia and improve access, efficiency and equity for people across the country.  Congratulations also to ICFHS associates Joel Rhee and David Peiris who have also received funding for separate projects through this scheme.
