The Lancet Commission on Transforming Primary Health Care in the Post-COVID-19 Era

The Lancet has launched this new global commission to explore the challenges faced by primary health care systems throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing post-pandemic reforms needed to support the transformation of primary health care to better meet future community needs in countries all around the world. The Commission aims to enhance primary health care equity, accessibility, and resilience through global research, policy recommendations, and strategic transformations for future health needs. ICFHS Director, Professor Michael Kidd AO, is one of the co-chairs of the Commission, with Commissioners including ICFHS adjunct members  Luke Allen, Trisha Greenhalgh OBE, Katherine Rouleau and Karen Tu.
