A Yuwaya Ngarra-li research team from UNSW and the DEG have been awarded a grant from the Australian Institute of Criminology for the project “Interactions of education and health outcomes with criminal justice contact of Aboriginal children and young people in Walgett NSW: a community-led analysis of linked data”. The Institute’s Criminology Research Fund aims to address current issues in the criminal justice system, and the grant will resource a researcher to analyse the innovative Yuwaya Ngarra-li Children and Young People Linked Dataset.
