Follow-up clinics

Long term follow-up (LTFU) clinics
If it has been 5 years since finishing cancer treatment, your Oncologist may refer you to a Long Term Follow-Up Clinic. Long term follow-up (LTFU) clinics provide long term monitoring and follow-up care for childhood cancer survivors in case of any late effects due to cancer treatment received as a child.
Maintaining proper follow-up health checks is beneficial for detecting any possible long term effects and addressing issues as soon as they arise. The goal of such clinics is to do everything possible to sustain the good health of all survivors well into adulthood by minimising the effects of cancer treatment.
Please see below for a list of LTFU clinics across Australia & New Zealand. Follow the links to find out more about your local service and how to get in touch with them.
** Please note that we cannot guarantee that the services will be available or appropriate for all families.
