Patient-Derived Organoids (PDOs)

Description
The 3D Culture Facility can assist your lab in creating and maintaining patient-derived organoids. From assisting in ethics applications, to developing, expanding and maintaining your organoids cultures for downstream applications.
Patient-derived organoids are three-dimensional (3D) cultures of cells derived from individual patients. Through use of specialised growth conditions, these PDOs are able to replicate the genetic and phenotypic characteristics of the original tissue, making them a brilliant model for precision medicine and understanding human biology.
