Description
The Leica CM1950 is an automated cryotome designed for high-quality frozen sectioning, featuring CryoZone™ technology for uniform cooling and UVC disinfection for enhanced safety. It offers vacuum section waste removal system, automated sectioning mode and an actively cooled object head to meet diverse laboratory needs.
Specifications
- Chamber temperature range 0°C to -35°C, specimen head temperature range 0°C to -50°C automatic or manual defrosting, peltier element, quick freeze shelf, UVC disinfection, permanent Ag Protect surface, vacuum extraction system, maximum specimen size 50x80mm.

- Fresh and fixed frozen tissue sectioning
- Section thickness 1-100um
- Trimming thickness 1-600um
