Cryopreservation and biobanking of threatened NSW corals

New South Wales has several endemic coral species, including the Threatened cauliflower soft coral, Dendronephthya australis, and cup corals from the genus Culicia. This project will seek to improve our understanding of reproduction in these species, and to develop and apply cryopreservation technologies to secure genetics from populations on the NSW coast.
