CAR T cells are revolutionising the treatment of both blood and solid cancers, although several limitations are to be overcome, including side effects, identification of more precise cancer targets, and controlling the ultimate cell state and phenotype of these cells following infusion.his project seeks to identify molecular and phenotypic profiles of CAR T cells that will be used in a predictive model to determine clinical outcomes. Both animal and human samples are used in a systems immunology approach to resolve these issues.

The desirable candidate should have a strong interest and passion for computational biology and systems immunology. In this project the candidate will be working in a highly interdisciplinary environment, including national and international collaborators.
