STGA PhD Scholarship

The STGA PhD Top-Up Scholarship supports PhD candidates undertaking research in Dance or Theatre and Performance Studies at UNSW. The Scholarship provides a stipend valued at $8,000 per year, payable fortnightly over 3.5 years via the Graduate Research School (GRS).

• $8,000 per year, paid fortnightly over 3.5 years

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must satisfy all of the following:

• Be enrolled or enrolling in an accredited Research Doctorate at UNSW
• Not be a former applicant for this scholarship
• Be available as full-time or part-time (payment will be pro rata for part-time/existing candidates)
• Be a new or existing candidate — both are eligible

Selection criteria

Submit a written statement of no more than 3 pages addressing:

• Academic merit
• Brief abstract of proposed research / thesis
• Evidence of research output or experience
• Statement on how your research will contribute to the relevant field
