This project will investigate the impacts of dingoes and dingo activity on other species in and around Myall Lakes National Park, where multiple packs of individually-known/identifiable dingo packs have been studied since 2019.

The student will work with the Myall Lakes Dingo/Dapin Project (MLDP) - a collaboration between the Centre for Ecosystem Science at UNSW, Taronga Conservation Society, NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, MidCoast Council, and the Taree Indigenous Development and Employment organisation, which works in consultation with representatives from the relevant Local Aboriginal Land Councils and wider community.

The MLDP's objectiveis to further our collective understanding of dingoes, and to facilitate the uptake of evidence-based management, resulting in improved outcomes for dingoes, communities and Country. Field research funding is provided, but the student is required to secure a PhD scholarship.
