Circular Sourcing helps brands source surplus textiles while reducing waste across the supply chain.
-
Circular Sourcing is a sourcing platform where brands buy surplus and circular textiles direct from mills. Minimums drop from 2,000 metres to 1 metre, so brands source only what they need, from stock available immediately rather than waiting on lead times. Mills recover margin on stock they would otherwise stockpile, sell by the kilo or destroy. Data is captured at the point of trade, ready for product passports and circular design modelling.
-
Brands overbuy fabric to meet mill minimums and rebuild material data by hand every time they need to prove a claim. Mills sit on surplus stock with few reuse pathways. Surplus builds at every stage and the chain is too fragmented for either side to recover the margin.
