Full-scale, fault-tolerant, quantum computing by driving qubit numbers on a single chip to the millions
Diraq's approach, using silicon ‘quantum dot’ technology, is based on existing foundry processes used to produce today’s chips, forging a faster and cheaper road to market.
-
Diraq’s goal is to deliver full-scale, fault-tolerant, quantum computing by driving qubit numbers on a single chip to the millions, and ultimately billions, needed for useful commercial applications. It’s the world leader in building quantum processors using silicon ‘quantum dot’ technology.
Diraq’s quantum computing technology is laser-focussed on economic viability when achieving fault tolerance due to low manufacturing costs, small space requirements, and relatively low energy consumption compared to other quantum computing modalities.
-
- Problem sets such as faster drug discovery, new material discovery for renewable energy and storage, and portfolio optimisation in finance, require processing power beyond that of current high-performance computers.
-
- Large companies, government or research-driven organisations in industries like defence, finance, pharmaceuticals, logistics, etc., with a long-term focus on competitive advantage through quantum computing.
-
- Received over USD$150 million in grant and venture capital funding to date
- Awarded DARPA Quantum Benchmarking Initiative Phase A
- Established foundry partnerships critical for production scale (GlobalFoundries , imec)
- Numerous R&D partnerships, incl. NVIDIA , Synopsys, HRL Laboratories, UNSW
