Geney Bio is making cell therapy manufacturing faster, more scalable and affordable.
-
Geney Bio is developing a low-cost, automated platform for cell therapy manufacturing from preclinical development through to commercial production. By enabling parallel experimentation, it helps developers create more robust processes in one-quarter of the time, avoid costly redevelopment between stages and reduce development and commercial manufacturing costs by up to 80%. Revenue will come from equipment, recurring consumables, services and commercial licensing.
-
Developing regulatory-compliant manufacturing processes for cell therapies can cost AU$2–7 million and take over a year. Existing platforms are designed for preclinical, clinical or commercial-scale manufacturing, forcing costly redevelopment at each stage. Combined with high manufacturing costs, this consumes scarce startup capital and drives the AU$500K+ therapy price.
-
Organisations developing regulatory-compliant manufacturing processes for cell therapies between preclinical development and early Phase II, after selecting a lead asset but before locking the process.
