LORAI Health is developing a next-generation estrogen patch designed for better adhesion and skin tolerability.
-
LORAI Health is developing a bio-equivalent estrogen patch engineered for improved adhesion and skin tolerability, built to meet current manufacturing and regulatory standards. The Gen-1 patch is on track for market entry in 2029; the team is pursuing TGA approval in Australia as its beachhead market, ahead of planned expansion into New Zealand, Canada, the UK, the EU, and then the US. Revenue comes from prescription sales through established clinical networks.
-
For over five years, women prescribed estrogen patches for menopause hormone therapy have faced ongoing supply shortages due to a lack of global manufacturing capability. Prescribing clinicians report that patients cannot reliably access patches that adhere and are gentle on skin, disrupting a therapy that requires decades of uninterrupted, continuous use.
-
Specialist menopause clinics, women's health GPs, gynaecologists, and high-prescribing menopause clinicians in Australia, plus women actively seeking alternatives to current estradiol patches, pills and gels.
