The product is highly scalable, with applications ranging from water softening for household appliances to supplying water for remote communities, agriculture, and stock watering.
Desalinating brackish water sources for industrial and environmental applications.
Olivine Tech is commercialising UNSW's Membrane Capacitive Deionisation (MCDI) technology for water treatment and softening. Its products operate using either mains power or solar energy and leverage the latest advances in AI technology.
-
Olivine Tech is marketing a desalination technology based on the principle of capacitive deionisation. While this technology has been available for some time, the team has developed fully AI-enabled products that can operate on either mains or renewable energy. These units are highly scalable and well-suited to operation in remote environments where technical support is unavailable. Income is generated either by sale of products or sale of treated water.
