Proseek Bio is developing blood tests to enable earlier, less invasive ovarian cancer detection.
-
Proseek Bio develops multi-biomarker glycoproteomic blood tests to reduce the reliance on surgical ovarian cancer diagnosis, thus enabling earlier detection and better outcomes. The advanced diagnostic products are designed to scale globally in commercial laboratories using existing clinical mass spectrometers. Revenue will come from recurring kit sales.
-
Ovarian cancer is the most lethal women’s cancer due to late detection and associated treatment failure. Definitive pathological diagnosis requires an invasive procedure by removing the suspected ovary for pathology. Without accurate non-invasive pre-surgical tests, up to 80% of ovarian cancer surgeries are performed on benign cases.
