RNAxis is using programmable RNA technology to improve the performance and persistence of T-cell therapies.
-
RNAxis is developing a programmable platform designed to modulate T-cell fate by targeting regulatory non-coding RNAs. Proprietary T-cell profiling identifies candidate regulators, while algorithm-designed ASOs provide a modular route to targeting them. By changing the RNA target rather than the underlying technology, RNAxis creates multiple therapeutic options and programs, initially to improve CAR-T-cell fitness and persistence during ex vivo manufacturing, with future applications in autoimmunity and vaccination.
-
T-cells underpin immune responses across cancer, infection and autoimmunity. In cell therapy, poor persistence, exhaustion and inconsistent functional states limit efficacy. Developers must engineer bespoke solutions for each product, making immunotherapy development slow, expensive and high risk.
-
Cell therapy and immuno-oncology companies developing CAR-T and T-cell therapies, with future expansion into autoimmune and vaccine developers.
