Alan Blood is a cell biologist with research interests in Fourier modulation innovations for light microscope design as well as medical applications for radiofrequency fields (RF). His previous research work includes a PhD project on biological effects of mobile phone radiation with UNSW Department of Biophysics and St Vincents Centre for Immunology and a prior Honours project on apoptosis biology with the Apoptosis Research Laboratory, University of Queensland. Alan’s interest in the discipline of Bioelectromagnetics goes back to undergraduate projects from 1996 to 1999 in the Bachelor of Science Advanced Studies program at Griffith University, including a project for an in-situ microscopy apparatus for cell exposures to RF fields.
